Our Golden Crest family had an amazing time celebrating Cinco de Mayo today! 🎉🌮
Residents enjoyed a festive afternoon filled with fun games, lots of laughter, and a delicious Mexican-style lunch that everyone loved. From tasty treats to bright, cheerful decorations, the day was full of great energy and even better company.
One of the highlights of the celebration was taking swings at the piñata! There were plenty of smiles, cheers, and sweet surprises to go around!❤️

We had a wonderful musical visit from Ms. Cheldon, who came out to sing for us! 🎤💛
We had quite the turnout, with residents coming together to enjoy an afternoon filled with beautiful music and great company. Ms. Cheldon performed all the best oldies but goodies, bringing back so many memories and getting everyone singing along, tapping their feet, and smiling from ear to ear ❤️
It was truly a heartwarming experience that filled the room with joy, nostalgia, and connection! 🎶

They turned out absolutely adorable, and everyone had such a fun time bringing their little peeps to life. Of course, the best part was striking our best “peep impression” and sharing plenty of laughs while we worked 😂

We are so proud to share that our Delegating Nurse, Ms. Leslie Dell’Angelo, was honored with the Hampstead Lions Club Community Award last evening! 💛
The Lions Club hosted a beautiful dinner reception where Leslie was celebrated alongside her family friends and community. Our Executive Director, Stephanie, had the opportunity to share a few heartfelt words about just how much Leslie means to everyone here at Golden Crest.
Leslie’s dedication, compassion, and commitment shine through in everything she does. She truly makes a difference in the lives of our residents, staff, and families each and every day.

The Community Club at Albert Rill took a special trip to the Carroll County Humane Society to deliver the homemade treats they created for the shelter animals! 🐾💛
We had an amazing time visiting with the wonderful staff and even got to meet some adorable furry friends along the way. It truly made our day seeing the joy these treats and a little extra love can bring to the animals.

What a fun and lively time! 🪣🥁✨
We kicked things off with our bucket drumming workout and let’s just say we made quite the commotion! 😂 At first, some people weren’t too sure, but the laughter and energy were contagious and soon everyone was smiling and getting involved. None of us could quite keep a perfect beat, but that just made it even more fun!
After all that excitement, we changed directions with a creative spring necklace activity. Some even went above and beyond, adding a matching bracelet and ring to complete the beautiful set 💐💍
Residents even enjoyed some peaceful time working on his 300-piece puzzle in the cozy corner focused, calm, and loving every minute of it ❤️
A perfect mix of energy, creativity, and relaxation all in one day!

Paws-itively a great day making a difference! 🐾💛
Today our residents rolled up their sleeves and made all-natural dog treats to donate to the Carroll County Humane Society. From mixing ingredients to shaping each treat with care, everyone had a wonderful time knowing their efforts will bring joy to some furry friends in need.
It’s always special when we can give back to our community and this one was filled with wagging tails and warm hearts! 🐶

We had an amazing time hitting the lanes and enjoying some friendly competition with our friends from Albert Rill and Evergreen! There’s nothing like a little bowling to bring everyone together and spark some laughter.

Our residents truly outdid themselves planning a beautiful vow renewal and anniversary celebration for our favorite Activity Director here at Nelson 1! 💍✨
Robin and her husband are celebrating 32 wonderful years of marriage pure bliss! ❤️ Our residents took the lead in every detail, from creating centerpieces and choosing the music to even walking Robin down the aisle. It was such a heartfelt and joyful experience for everyone involved.
The love, effort, and creativity that went into this special day made it unforgettable. Robin and her husband were incredibly grateful for the thoughtful ceremony and celebration their residents hosted. Moments like these remind us just how special our community truly is! 💐

Cara has provided exceptional care to the residents at our Evergreen location in Hampstead, MD since October 2024. She has a knack for making everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome and at home. Cara is punctual, reliable, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Our Cheese Fondue Social was a melty masterpiece of fun and flavor! 🧀✨
Residents gathered together to dip, and socialize while enjoying a variety of delicious goodies paired perfectly with warm, creamy cheese fondue. From bread and veggies to sweet treats, there was something for everyone to enjoy!
Laughter filled the room as we shared stories, tried new combinations, and simply enjoyed each other’s company. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together for a cozy and interactive experience!
