Lutheran Hospital has been recognized as a Center of Excellence by GO2 for Lung Cancer for our commitment to improving the detection and management of pulmonary nodules.
Each year, about 237,000 Americans are diagnosed with lung cancer, and while it remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths, survival rates continue to improve thanks to earlier detection and advances in treatment.
This designation highlights the work of our care teams to ensure patients with incidentally detected lung nodules receive timely follow-up, coordinated care, and clear communication. Through a structured program that tracks and manages nodules found during imaging, Lutheran Hospital is helping patients access the care they need sooner—when it can make the biggest difference.
“Lutheran Hospital is dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality care,” said a hospital spokesperson. “We’re proud to be part of this national network working to improve lung cancer detection, treatment, and outcomes for our community.”
We’re honored to be part of the GO2 for Lung Cancer Centers of Excellence network, bringing national advancements in lung cancer care close to home for Colorado patients.
