What an incredible weekend at the 100th Annual Arvada Harvest Festival & Parade!

We’re thrilled to share that our scarecrow float took home 1st place in the Commercial Float category! 🏆 A huge thank-you to the 17 departments who created amazing scarecrows to bring our float to life. Special congratulations to our winners:

We’re proud to share that Lutheran Hospital has received the 2025 Celebrate 6 Award of Breastfeeding Excellence from the Colorado Hospital Lactation Collaborative at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. 💙

This recognition honors hospitals that have implemented at least six of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative’s Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding—ensuring new families receive the education, support, and care they need to begin their breastfeeding journey with confidence.

🧸💙 A small comfort can make a big difference.

Team members from Intermountain Health recently assembled 75 handmade care kits for children in Westminster facing trauma.

Each kit includes a stuffed animal, a birth certificate, and a handwritten note with words like: "You are strong. You are brave. You are loved."

These kits were delivered to the Westminster Police Department and will be shared with children experiencing crisis—giving them something tangible to hold onto in moments when they need it most.

Thank you to all 80+ Intermountain caregivers who brought heart, compassion, and creativity to this project. This is what community looks like. 💛

Congratulations to Ashley Cardenas, Sleep Admin at our Sleep Center, on receiving the L.O.V.E. Award!

For the past eight months, Ashley has gone above and beyond—taking on the work of two caregivers while navigating big transitions. From multiple department moves to the loss of an automated system, Ashley stepped in with resilience and dedication. She managed full patient schedules, created new workflows, tracked studies manually, and ensured every detail was in place so the team could succeed.

Ashley didn’t just keep things running—she kept her team supported, trained new staff with patience and positivity, and became the glue that held the Sleep Center together during a challenging time.
