Yoga for Runners: Strength, Mobility & Recovery
Whether you’re training for a race or logging weekly miles, running places repetitive stress on the body. This workshop is designed specifically for runners who want to move better, feel stronger, and recover more efficiently. Join yoga instructor Brooke, who after running multiple half marathons, deepened her yoga practice following a running injury. Yoga became a key part of her recovery and continues to shape how she supports runners on and off the mat.
In this strength-based yoga workshop, we’ll focus on building stability through the hips and core, improving mobility in commonly tight areas (calves, hamstrings, hips), and using controlled movement to support injury prevention. Expect slow, intentional flows that build single-leg strength, balance, and body awareness—without requiring prior yoga experience.
The session will conclude with guided recovery and breathwork to help calm the nervous system and support post-run recovery.
