There’s something so peaceful about listening to Becky play the Appalachian dulcimer. The soft, calming music filled Broad Creek Manor today and created such a relaxing atmosphere for our residents. We are so grateful for talented musicians like Becky who share their time and gifts with us. The joy, comfort, and memories that music brings to our home truly mean so much. Because Caring Matters.

We had a wonderful Cinco de Mayo celebration here at Broad Creek Manor! Residents enjoyed salt-rimmed margaritas, chips and salsa, and spent time learning about Mexican culture and traditions.

The afternoon also included decorating colorful Mexican masks, which brought out everyone’s creativity and made for lots of smiles and laughter.

It was a great mix of fun, learning, and time together—just the way we like it @ BCM....Because Caring Matters!!!!

Take a look at all the fun we’ve been having at Broad Creek Manor over the past few weeks… from mini golf, to baking our Earth Day cookies - look how they turned out like little Earths. We’ve been planting seeds to grow from scratch, getting our garden planters ready with fresh lettuce and basil, and decorating chocolate covered pretzels. We’ve also enjoyed special visits from our dogs who always brighten the day, and time together listening to Pastor Ryan from Emory Church sharing live church music on the guitar, filling the room with familiar songs and meaningful moments. There’s always something to look forward to at Broad Creek Manor.

We had the sweetest celebration for Jessie’s 101st birthday!

Our residents came together to sing Happy Birthday, watch her blow out her candles, and share in the joy of such a special milestone. Jessie then enjoyed a private luncheon with her family, catered by Broad Creek Manor in our activities room.

Moments like these are what make our home so special.

101 years young and still going strong!

Jessie is celebrating her 101st birthday today - walking, standing tall, and enjoying life each and every day. She proudly wore her 101 crown and sash, reminding all of us what strength, resilience, and a life well-lived truly look like.

We are so lucky to celebrate this incredible milestone with her at Broad Creek Manor.

What a beautiful day at Broad Creek Manor!!

We had a wonderful Easter celebration with a great turnout of families, friends, and lots of smiling faces. The Easter Bunny made a special visit, and the kids had so much fun hunting for over 250 eggs hidden around the property.

One of the best parts? Our residents helped stuff every single egg ahead of time—and they had an absolute blast being part of it. It’s moments like these that bring generations together and make our home feel even more special.

And of course, every resident had the chance to get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny — lots of smiles, laughs, and special memories made.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so memorable.
