🚧 Project Progress Update! 🚧

We’re excited to share that our Valenti-Held Contractor/Developer, Inc. team is putting the finishing touches on the SSD work on site! 💪

It’s always great to see the underground systems coming together — a major milestone that sets the stage for everything else to follow. The crews have been working hard to ensure everything is installed with precision, safety, and quality in mind.

With SSD nearing completion, we’re getting ready to transition into the next phase of the project. It’s exciting to see all the progress being made each week! 👷‍♂️🚜

We’ve shared updates on the ponds—now, even more progress is happening on-site as we continue preparing the land for our future community! Grading, clearing, and shaping the landscape is well underway to create a strong foundation for roads, homes, and shared spaces.

This phase is all about transforming open earth into a space where families will live, connect, and grow. Every day brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality! 🏡✨

🚜 Breaking Ground on a New Housing Development 🏘️

We’ve officially started site preparation for a new residential project, beginning with excavation for a stormwater pond. This is a critical first step in building out the infrastructure to support future homes and ensure proper water management for the site. 🌧️💧

Our team is working hard to reshape the landscape, manage elevations, and prepare the ground for roads, utilities, and future construction. The pond will serve both functional and aesthetic purposes — helping control runoff while creating a natural feature within the development. 🌿

Looking forward to seeing this project come to life, one phase at a time!

🚧 Site clearing is officially underway! 👷‍♂️🌳
It’s always a little bittersweet watching a space transform — saying goodbye to the old to make way for something new. While the trees come down and the dust kicks up, we're laying the groundwork (literally) for a project we’re proud to bring to the community.
Big things are coming, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. Stay tuned for updates as we build something great — from the ground up. 🏗️💪

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Jason Trenkamp, Utility Superintendent 🌟

Jason’s journey with Valenti-Held began back in 2004 when he was hired as a Utility Foreman. Over the years, he’s worked his way up to Utility Superintendent, bringing a strong work ethic and leadership to every project.

Jason shares, “I’ve always taken great pride in the work we do, the accomplishments of our crews, and ensuring everyone goes home safe each day. Being part of the company ownership adds even more meaning to that pride.”

He credits the mentors who helped him early on in his career—starting with his uncle who got him into the business 26 years ago—and the teams who taught him the ins and outs of the trade. His approach is straightforward: perfectionism at work and at home, never cutting corners, and always striving to be the best.

What Jason values most about working at Valenti-Held is the culture of support and safety. He says, “The leadership truly has your back, and the benefits and opportunities here are second to none. Most importantly, everyone is committed to going home safe every day.”

Outside of work, Jason enjoys quiet time at home with his wife Johnnie, family time with his kids Dylan, Duncan, and Kate, and spoiling his grandson Beckham. And if he finds the time, he fits in a round of golf or two each year.

Jason’s advice for those building their careers in construction:
“Your career is what you make it. Effort and willingness to learn are key. Mistakes happen—learn from them and keep pushing forward. When you stop learning, your career stops growing.”
