"Living Proof"
Another great real testimony to what we strive to do for our horses!!! A must read.

This dude right here…Tiny…first pic is first day he came to us first week in March, (cant see it in pic) skin issues, lacking groceries, one area of kissing spine, and unbeknownst to any of us - infected with strangles. He passed two vet checks, performed on cattle like nothing was wrong, even with no drugs for kissing spine. Two weeks later he almost died from strangles. He had one abscess the vet could access to drain, but the other was deep in his throat surrounded by a major artery and important nerves and vessels. To drain the abscess would take surgery with no guarantee he would make a full recovery. We thought about euthanasia only because his chances of survival were slim. His epiglottis was so enlarged it became displaced and he was unable to eat or drink. I did a LOT of praying for some direction. To euthanize any animal is a hard decision. After two days of not being able to eat and on iv fluids and antibiotics, he showed some signs he wanted to eat. He wanted to live! That was the answer to my prayers. At that point it was up to me to figure out how to help the vet save him. We did the surgery and it was a success. Abscess was drained. We started him on Evoke Equi Balance as soon as he was able to eat. We actually had him on it when he first moved in but then he ended up at the vet and didnt get it for a few weeks. So we started him back on it. Our whole herd is on it and has been since November 2025. This horse went from almost being dead to back to competing in less than 3 months. No other horses at our place got sick either. Even the other one we purchased at the same time that had no records of any vaccines. Our other horses were all vaccinated against strangles, but it doesn’t necessarily keep them from getting it - just lessens severity. So long story here but its a successful one. I truly believe this horse would not have recovered as fast as he did and be in the condition he is in now with Equi Balance. This stuff is amazing! Tiny is living proof!
