Is it just caregiving that we do?

Absolutely not! We build relationships with the families that we serve. How do I know that? Why do I say that?

I know and say that because when I pop in for a visit to see how everything is going, our clients know me, remember me, and we just talk. We talk about their day, their feelings, their book clubs, their kids. We barely talk about business or care? Of course, I want to know how care is going but I can tell you just by the way they greet me? The way they talk about their caregiver. If you're in tune with your families then you know.

My most recent visit, she took me to her garage just to show me her childhood doll house that her and the caregiver have been working on. She was so proud and happy to show me. That's what we do here, we don't just do "home care"

Today I was honored to help my friends from Synergy Home Care and run 3.8 miles and working out at four CrossFit gyms in between the run. The cause was for The Caring Foundation who exists to help people that need care but may not have the means to financially afford it. My competitors are just another resource for me and I see them as peers and friends. We call learn from each other, taught me that through her dinner series.

P.S. I barely made it to the last gym! lol. And I know I’m going to be sore tomorrow.
