Hey y’all!! After almost 4 years, lots of thought and a little sadness we are letting everyone know that we are shutting down operations of our little trucking business. The state of the economy, fuel prices and cargo prices have really left us no other choice. Thank you to everyone who supported us during this journey and man was it a journey!! We are forever grateful to every employee, driver, leased on driver, customer and anyone else that was a part of making our dream a success!!!
We are so proud of our selves for starting and growing a successful business. This business was our first baby. We started it right after the pandemic started, we didn’t know what was going to happen with jobs with everything shut down and we wanted a way to support our selves and our family if anything happened with the job we had. We knew nothing about the trucking business, but we knew that we could do it and failure wasn’t an option. So, with blind faith and lots of determination we made it happen.
Running a business is hard, running a trucking business is really hard, but we did it. We figured it out as we went. Some people probably thought we were crazy, there were times when we thought we were crazy!! We learned a lot, a lot of lessons for sure, some good and some not so good.
We are not done, we are going to shift our time and focus into some of our other business ideas, some may be already in the works….. we are ready to move on to new ventures!!! Stay tuned for successful business 2, 3, 4 and maybe 5. I’ve learned to never say never but I don’t think any of our future businesses will be in the trucking industry.
If there is something you want to do in life, do it!! Don’t over think it and talk yourself out of it with all the what ifs!!! The saying you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take is very true!!! Take the risk, do the thing even if it’s scary, do it especially when it’s scary!!! We were able to check something off of our list of goals, start, run and grow a successful business ✅ We have no regrets!! We are so excited for the future and what we have planned next!!
