š Hey Early Movements fans! Itās been kinda quiet around here because thereās been a lot of growth, change and unknowns going on. I feel confident that now is a good time to finally give an update and share some BIG news with you all.
After much prayer, discernment, and consideration I have made the {difficult} decision to end my time providing home/community PT sessions and move into a more outpatient PT setting. As a wife and mother to 4 kiddos, it has been a CHALLENGE to do what it takes to build a thriving business. While I have loved the challenge, I couldnāt envision myself keeping up with it all while continuing to be the best version of a mother and wife I was being called to be. Cue the beginning of learning more about where I was meant to be. Early into the next steps I connected with a clinic that had values that aligned so well with mine when it comes to providing compassionate care for children AND also understood the importance of work/life balance with the flexibility needed to be available for my children as much as possible. It didnāt take long from there to decide what my next steps would be.
So here I am today to proudly announce that I am now a pediatric physical therapist at the Move2Play pediatric physical therapy clinic in Northeast Wichita!! š I am still just as passionate about child development, childrenās functional independence and serving the children and families in Wichita and surrounding communities! I love everything about this new role and I love even more that I donāt have to work a 40hr week to provide for my family. I have the flexibility to fully control my schedule, the flexibility to be home with sick children, and the fantastic opportunity to learn from incredible and experienced physical therapists. Itās been a very refreshing change to my career and Iām excited to continue growing and learning here.
