Congratulations to the winners of our annual holiday decorations competition! The South Pod team at our Central location took first place with their Taylor Swift–themed decorations, and the Lab team at Central earned second place with their custom stockings and office décor. The creativity and holiday spirit across all our locations truly shined this season! If you walked into any of our clinics this past month, you saw firsthand how our teams filled every space with festive decorations and holiday cheer. The Winter Solstice on Dec. 21 marks the return of more hours of daylight, offering hope for those affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Reduced daylight can impact mood and energy, but our Manager of Integrated Care, Tatiana Munoz Vargas, suggests spending time outdoors, light therapy, or treatments such as CBT or Vitamin D (with a doctor’s guidance) can help. The return of more daylight can improve mood and overall wellbeing — hopeful news for the season ahead!
