We are a very small business that uses long grain rice and essential oils to provide comfort and relief for everyday aches and pains, as well as for chronic pain conditions. We make rice bags, in a couple of sizes, with a cotton blend fabric, long grain white rice and essential oils. The essential oils we use are Lavender and Cedarwood mixed together, for relaxation. You may also request that no e
ssential oils be used, if you have allergies or a sensitivity to smells. Our rice bags can be used in many ways but, the most popular are heated in the microwave, for between two and four minutes, and then used like a "heating pad" to sooth sore achy muscles or, chilled in the freezer, overnight, and then used like an "ice pack" to reduce swelling, soreness and inflammation. Like many of our customers, our family keeps at least one rice bag in the freezer at all times and one or two next to the microwave for quick access. With four family members we use our rice bags just about daily for various reasons. As mentioned above, our rice bags can be used in many ways, for instance, they can be lap warmers on cold days; they can be used to soothe arthritic joints; they can soothe upset tummies or menstrual cramps; they can ease an ear ache; they can be used by nursing mothers to bring their milk in and to ease sore nipples; they can be used to warm cold feet or hands; they can be used for post surgery aches and pains; they can help keep a food dish cool or keep it warm; they can help keep someone, especially the older population, cool in the hot days of Summer or warm in the very cold days of Winter; and, they can be used in many more ways. We recently started making bar soaps, body scrubs, body butters, lip balm, cracked heel cream, laundry scent boosters and more. Until we get an investor, we are only able to make some of these items by special request. Customer satisfaction is guaranteed. Our products are made the way our customers like them and expect them, from our small family business. Our rice bags are a very simple design to keep costs down, they are extremely practical and great as gifts at Christmas or any occasion and, they are well loved for the comfort they bring to whoever owns them.
