We have a long tradition in the Midwest, and Wichita in particular, of training well-rounded full-scope family physicians for practice in any setting. We are based at a large university-affiliated tertiary medical center (level I trauma, level 3 nursery), and a state of the art outpatient clinic. Wesley Medical Center delivers more babies than any other hospital in a 13 state region and is in the

99th percentile in the nation for deliveries. With the resources of the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, Wesley Family Medicine offers the experience to prepare you for your practice goals.

It has been a busy and fun adventure these past few months here at WFMR. We graduated our class of 2022; welcomed our PGY1 residents; onboarded Joseph Saffold, MD, and Randy Whitely, MD, as new faculty; volunteered at the Kansas Food Bank; spent some time together at our annual team meeting retreat; and assisted with the second annual HealthCore Clinic Women’s Health Fair.
