Our company stands out because we prioritize a supportive and inclusive culture where everyone feels seen and valued. We offer flexible work schedules and the ability to work from home to help team members balance their professional and personal lives. Also, positive relationships are extremely important at OBS. We continue to foster strong staff connections through small team meetings to cultivate a sense of belonging. We embrace each staff members’ individual differences, cultivate their strengths, and help develop their talents. We’re a company that actively seeks input from our staff and work to provide benefits and perks they’re looking for. Finally, because we’re a fast-growing company, we offer plenty of opportunities for promotions and career growth.

Our company is the nation’s leader in optometric billing services, known for our innovative solutions and exceptional customer service. We embrace a participatory management style that understands professional relationships are built on mutual respect and trust. We are always looking for a win-win-win solution to ensure every decision is good for the company, the staff, and our clients.
How does your company help grow employee careers?
Everyone starts as OBS billers, a position that is more than just a job but an introduction into a professional career. They receive 10-12 weeks of dedicated training to teach them the skills they need to become the best optometric billers in the country. After formal training is completed, career development continues through weekly meetings with immediate managers to expand knowledge by going over questions and getting insights into challenging claims. These dedicated times for learning ensure growth is always happening. As changes happen throughout the industry, we also provide company-wide training to keep our staff current on all industry standards. Furthermore, we’ve worked hard to develop online training through our OBS University and EyeKnowledge forums, where billers can expand their skills through independent study. We strongly believe in promoting from within. All 28 members of our management team started as billers. By promoting from within the company, it ensures leadership has the knowledge and skill set to lead and develop their teams in a way that is in line with OBS’s company values. Because we’re a rapidly growing company, we’re always hiring new staff and promoting existing staff into other positions, allowing every employee the chance to grow with the company. In fact, we help each staff member recognize their strengths and talents and encourage them to find their special niche within the company.
