Meet Roni. Today was Roni’s first day of her transformation challenge. Roni has some amazing goals and I am so excited to help her crush them. I’m also excited because Roni is MY accountability partner. In the years I’ve been a fitness trainer I learned the KEY to success is having an accountability partner. We text each other in the morning. We make sure we don’t stay up to late at night. I am excited to start this transformation challenge my my buddy, and together we’re going to do good things!!!❤️

Tips on how to Ramp up your exercise routine.
We have all been there...you are doing awesome and consistent with your exercise routine. Then we stumble and somehow we fall out of the habit. It is frustrating because we put so much work and time into eating right and working out and within a couple of days to weeks we see our progress lost. A lot of us might give up at this point, or we jump back in with the same intensity we had been training at weeks ago only to feel like are killing ourselves without seeing any results.
So let’s get you back on track with the right attitude...🤗😀😬

Start with forgiveness.
Forgive yourself for falling out of the routine. You are a human being, these things happen. Let it go and don’t use this an excuse to keep from getting back on track

Be realistic about your goals.
My goal has always been to get a workout in 3-6 times a week. I know I will have some good weeks and some not so great weeks. Your goal should be focused on getting back in your routine in the beginning.

Ramp up slowly.
Don’t try to start where you left off. Start at 50-75 percent of your past intensity depending on how long it has been since you have worked out. Focus on range of motion and cardio conditioning.

Find an accountability buddy.
Having someone to team up with makes working out tolerable. Dare I say fun😉
Alright peeps, it’s up to you to get things going, and I am here if you ever need me to motivate you. ❤️

Assertiveness does not come natural to me, and I am working on breaking that cycle. The following posts are only intended for those who will be helped or inspired by them. The rest of you can ignore them. No harm no foul. ❤
I do not claim to have come up with these ideas on my own, I am merely learning these concepts, and how to put them into practice for myself.

On that note, let's begin.

1.Make the decision to positively assert yourself.
NOT passively OR aggressively not even passively aggressively.
2. To not be afraid to say what you want or believe.
3.State your needs and opinions clearly.
Practice starts right now

What does it mean to be assertive anyway? Simply, it is having a confident and forceful personality.
Of these following traits, I only naturally have a few. How many of them do you possess?
Positivity, determination, strong willed, confident, forceful, bold, decisive, assured, authoritative, insistent, consistent, firm and commanding.

Now write your list. Which ones are you working on? Which ones can you congratulate yourself on? What realistic goals could you make to improve yourself? If you feel comfortable please share if not please know we are all in this battle together. Love, love and more love.

Classes start soon for Park and rec. I have a few openings for personal training if anyone is interested in kick starting their New Year's Goals. Here is a quick testamoninal from Indigo Poleman, "Cindy is so much fun, and kind, and encouraging; it was so appreciated when I started because I was nervous about exercising in a group. She works your whole body and teaches you how to perform these exercises correctly. And She is so patient and kind if you forget or mess up. My body as a whole has benefited from the variety of exercises. I know that if I had done it on my own I would never have progressed so quickly. There is no competition or ego with anyone, we are all here to improve and support eachother."
