🔋 Why Are Hearing Aid Battery Packages Harder to Open Now?
🤔If you're using hearing aids that take disposable batteries and not rechargeable ones, you may have noticed it's gotten a lot harder to open the packaging lately — and you're not alone.
📦 It’s not just our brand — it’s happening nationwide due to a new federal safety rule called Reese’s Law.
This law was put in place to prevent young children from accidentally swallowing button batteries. So now, all hearing aid batteries must be packaged in child-resistant material — which can be tougher for adults to open, too.
We know it’s a little frustrating, but it’s about keeping everyone safe. ❤️
And if you need help opening your batteries or switching to rechargeable options, just stop by your nearest Hearing Group location — we’re happy to help!
