⭐ Staff Spotlight: Meet Dr. Jake Cain, PT, DPT

Jake was born and raised here in Wiggins. He came back to Stone County when he graduated school and lives here with his wife, Emily, and their 3.5 year old Twin Boys.

👨‍⚕️Role at Batson PT: Physical Therapist
🎓 Education & Training: Jake graduated from MSU with a BS in Kinesiology in 2019. He went on to graduate from UMMC with his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2022.
🏃 Favorite way to stay active: Jake (prior to tearing his ACL in April 🤪) loves to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Good Fight Dojo here in Wiggins
💡 Fun fact: Jake was the president of a club that hosted regular competitive video game tournaments while at Mississippi State!
💬 Why he loves PT: Jake is passionate in his belief that there’s no better way to help others become the best version of themselves and reduce chronic pain than physical therapy! He loves equipping others to solve their own problems and hopes you never need him again after discharge (unless you just want to say hi)!

Congratulations to Mr. Paul! After shoulder surgery, he came to Batson Physical Therapy determined to get back to doing the things he loves. He worked hard, stayed consistent, and has now completed his course of treatment, successfully reaching his goals and restoring function in his shoulder. We will miss seeing him in the clinic, but we are so proud of his progress and can’t wait to see him enjoy life with his renewed strength! 🎉👏🏋️
