We had a fantastic time yesterday in our beautiful courtyard having our own Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We had amazing horderves, fresh fruit, homemade cookies and flavored water by our amazing chef Kat. Giveaways from the Alzheimer's Association and music by Tom Evan were enjoyed by everyone involved. To all who helped and all who participated thank you!

What a fun day we had on Friday to finish off National Assisted Living Week. We had an amazing time getting to know our animal friends from Bella's Petting Zoo. Residents, family members and staff had a blast loving on these adorable and well behaved animals!

For National Assisted Living week we wanted our residents to express themselves with self portraits. Our residents picked their favorite colors to paint a background then chose items that spoke to who they are and what they enjoy to put on their backgrounds. While hesitant at first everyone was proud of their finished pieces and they turned out great!

We had a blast today playing our new Jazzminton game here at Inspiritas of Wildwood! It was a rainy day and we were stuck indoors but that didn't stop us from laughing and having a good time. A big thank you to the best Regional a team could ask for Mary Gauldin for surprising us with this wonderful game!

A Musical Extravaganza with Bob Porazzo! From guessing tunes to naming artists, the afternoon was filled with pure musical delight. Bob's talent on both piano and accordion had us all on our feet, singing and dancing in unison. What a fantastic time we had!

We love a good birthday party! Ray was our only resident with a birthday this month, so we had him to thank for a great party! We had chocolate cake topped with whipped cream, caramel, and strawberries thanks to our Taste of RUI team, and to top it off entertainment with Jeff Brown!

Today at Inspiritás of Wildwood we enjoyed music therapy with the very talented Susana! She played piano, guitar, and autoharp. She also played us the song Leaving on a Jet Plane for our resident who was a pilot, as well as West Virginia for our resident who was a former WV native!
