FSR is honored to join U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) and U.S. Congressman Max Miller (OH-6) in launching the bipartisan Congressional Sarcoidosis Caucus.

Inspired by Congressman Gottheimer’s mother, Gwenn, this caucus will work with the FDA to modernize outdated systems, raise national awareness, and advocate for increased, dedicated federal resources to combat sarcoidosis.

As Mary McGowan, President and CEO of FSR, shared: “This caucus is an exciting effort in building legislative pathways to improve access to care, advance research, and improve the lives of the nearly 200,000 individuals in the U.S. impacted by sarcoidosis.”
