The Liberty Dolls joined us at the Virginia Greens Theater to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Each distinct branch of the military was given special recognition and appreciation during the event.

Our October spotlight shone on Joe and Pat Healey. Both former educators, Pat is a talented creative who enjoys a wide variety of arts and crafts. Joe spent a career as a Professor of Sociology, is a seasoned textbook author, and a musician/performance artist with a special love for the banjo and dulcimer. They shared their fascinating individual and combined histories surrounded by a display of Pat’s visual arts and accompanied by Joe’s live musical performances, captivating the gathered crowd. Afterward, we enjoyed an ice cream social in the lounge where Chef Nathan’s homemade caramel apple ice cream was a HIT!
