Mandy Bealer Birth Doula A page all about birth, parenting, and all things surrounding it. :) Hi. I'm Mandy Bealer and I am a birth doula. I have been involved in birth work since 2001.

The word doula is greek, meaning "a woman who serves". I support women and their families physically, mentally, and spiritually (if wanted) during childbirth. I started out as a massage therapist and got into birthwork when I was in massage school. I love what I do. I love watching couples turn into families and families become bigger families! I love encouraging women to educate themselves and do research for what is best for them and their situation. I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to be in this field. I love having the opportunity to witness those sweet little miracles as they enter into this world. I love seeing the strength that women have when they feel supported and loved. I truly believe that our bodies are amazing and can do many things if we listen and trust ourselves. Part of my job is to help women to trust themselves and to trust birth. I hope that I can help women do that with this page.
