Each year, more than 13,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer in the United States. Yet cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers today. In most cases cervical cancer can be prevented through early detection and treatment of abnormal cell changes that occur in the cervix years before cervical cancer develops.

This holiday season, River Valley Health proudly put compassion into action by taking on four angel tags from the YWCA.
Our team made sure that adults residing within their shelters were celebrated with love and joy.
From fulfilling their wants and needs to providing something for them to wear and read, we ensured that nothing was left unchecked on their lists.

For the past 20 years, STEP Office of Aging has partnered with many area businesses to coordinate the Santa’s Seniors Program. This annual program provides gift bags of nonperishable goods, cold weather supplies, and other necessities to senior citizens who receive Meals on Wheels through STEP’s Office of Aging.
