South Jersey Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association, Inc. The South Jersey Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association, Inc. (SJCNBNA) is a member of the National Black Nurses Association, Inc. C.

(NBNA) whose headquarters are located in Washington, D. The South Jersey Chapter was founded in 1983. For over fourty years the National Black Nurses Association has been the vanguard for Black American nurses in the United States. Community service is the hallmark of the NBNA. The South Jersey Chapter of the National Black Nurses’ Association consists of a group of dedicated nurses from Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, and Salem Counties. Our traditional activities include periodical health screenings for heart disease, diabetes and cancer. In addition, we offer health education on disease prevention, weight management,nutritional counseling and other preventative health measures. SJCNBNA is typified by a sense of caring for the community through collaborative ventures with its health care partners in the private and public sectors.

Meetings are held every 1st Saturday of each month excluding July and August. We welcome the opportunity for new membership to deliver the best health care services in our communities.
