We’ve paved over their homes, fragmented their forests, and then expressed surprise when they appear in our backyards. 🦌🦊🦝

The truth is, these animals aren't "intruding"—they are navigating the human-dominated landscape we created. When we view wildlife solely as pests to be trapped or relocated, we ignore the fact that we’ve taken away their natural corridors.

True stewardship isn't about control; it's about making space. By planting native hedges, allowing for wildlife corridors, and ditching the traps, we can move from conflict to coexistence. It’s time to stop trying to "fix" nature and start respecting the neighbors we’ve displaced.

Compassion is the most effective gardening strategy there is.
