Over the last 2 days, I’ve sat by the sea for a bit. I asked Spirit what I needed to know, and, as it so often does, spirit came forward. My attention was pulled toward the water. I have always been drawn to the sea. Since I was little, I’ve been fascinated with it. I can sit and almost always be put into a trancelike state. During this first visit, the waves seemed to speak gently, asking me to place my feet in the water, even just one, and receive the sea’s blessing. It is funny because Gio even asked right after to go walk on the beach. Always listen to the universe and receive your validation. I did, and the cool touch felt kind and welcoming, like a quiet yes. It was everything I needed.
This morning, I returned to the shoreline. The energy felt more communicative, more alive. Beneath the moving surface, I saw red lines like veins of heat forming words. It said, “It is I, the volcano who sleeps here. Beneath the surface I live.” It startled me, but I stayed present and let the experience unfold because you should always honor the nature spirits that come forward for you.
The energy still felt like the sea, yet there was something earthy within it. It was ancient, grounded, and powerful. A few moments later, the waves rolled through again, washing over that presence, softening it without diminishing it. It was such a powerful moment to sit and witness. Two great forces living together in constant relationship, neither erasing the other.
I left with the sense that coexistence is not compromise, but balance. That even beneath calm waters, there is immense power, and that power does not need to rise to the surface to be real. It’s always there. Always present.
