Dairy and PCOS
100% willing to die on this hill friends!
If you have PCOS, you can eat dairy.
If you are TTC, you can eat dairy.
In fact, if you have PCOS and/or are TTC, full-fat dairy has been shown to benefit fertility.
If you notice unpleasant symptoms after consuming dairy, honor that too.
All I’m saying, is there is no definitive evidence to support that all people with PCOS and all people TTC must cut out all dairy.
Start by honing in to your body and how it feels. The more you do this, the easier it becomes.
There is some research to support the fact that dairy can cause cystic acne, but this is not the case for everyone and also not the same for cysts on the ovaries.
Remember, the “cysts” referred to with polycystic ovaries are not actually ovarian cysts. They are immature follicles that don’t mature to the point of being ovulated.
Circling back to a point earlier, full fat dairy has actually been shown to support fertility by promoting ovulation so, if dairy is something you want to include in your diet, full fat dairy is a great option for many people with PCOS!
Dairy is also an amazing source of protein as well as many vitamins and minerals so there are absolutely benefits to including it in your diet.

SAVE THESE AFFIRMATIONS for your fertile window👏🏼✨
The idea behind affirmations is to use positive and present-tense statements to reinforce a desired mindset or belief.
When it comes to fertility, incorporating affirmations into your routine during your fertile window can help reduce stress, enhance your overall well-being, and create a more positive environment for conception.🤰🏽
You might want to journal, these, say them in mirror, or even repeat them to yourself on your way to work.
Here are a few examples to get you started and WHY they can support your fertility journey⬇️

PCOS Symptom Remission is Possible!
What may appear “minor” to a lot of people is actually a big struggle for many of us with PCOS… facial hair😣
While it may seem like just an added step to your morning routine, facial hair can be a big insecurity and source of pain for many folks.
It may even feel like a physical reminder of what’s going on in your body.
Two things I want you to know if facial hair or acne is a struggle for you:
1️⃣ You are NOT alone and your feelings are valid. You’d be surprised how many clients I talk to about facial hair every week! This is another reminder that community is important and that other PCOSers can empathize with your feelings and struggles.
2️⃣ It IS possible to clear up your pesky facial hair! I love getting messages from clients saying “I no longer have to pluck my facial hair or worry about acne” and know that I helped them get there💗
Meals that will also aid in symptom management and support your body’s needs😍
What do you think of when you hear “meal prep”? Plain chicken and broccoli in plastic containers? Forcing yourself to eat the same meal day after day? Trying to hit a calorie goal?
Trust me, I get it!🙃 Sadly diet culture has hijacked meal prep to make it something that feels restrictive and frustrating, when really it should be something that makes your life feel easier.
Feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin?
My PCOS Meal Plan Subscription is for you🙌🏼🌈
Inside you’ll get a custom meal calendar each month complete with recipes, grocery lists, tips, and more!
And the best part? These meals are balanced and designed to support your PCOS symptom remission!🥲
PCOS REMINDER
✖️“Just lose weight”
✖️“You have PCOS because of your size”
✖️“If you lose weight your symptoms will improve”
✖️“Just take these meds and go on a diet”
UGH😤
As someone who has PCOS myself and who has helped dozens of women navigate their own, I know the typical advice most people are given at the doctors office.
Well I am here to tell you that this is lazy and ineffective advice!
There are sooo many other lifestyle and nutrition factors you can use to manage your PCOS symptoms and improve your quality of life💫
Oh, and having PCOS is NOT your fault- don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.
