Join us as we honor the power of Juneteenth. “Commemorating the end of slavery in the United States is important, as we also remember those who never lived a life of freedom, though in a country founded on freedom and equality. The recognition and observance of Juneteenth gives hope and promise for our country.” Margaret Weller-Stargell, President & CEO of Coastal Horizons

We are so thankful for the art submissions to our By Kids, For Kids Art Auction by our celebrity artist, Bleu of Bleu's Colon Clues ! Videos of Bleu singing to her mom's wind chimes have been viewed over 18 million times! Bleu has made appearances on both the Ellen Show and Good Morning America. According to her mom, Ana, Bleu's inspiration for her art is to raise awareness for colorectal cancer. Bleu lost her Aunt Julie ten years ago to colorectal cancer. Bleu paints hydrangeas because that is the flower her mom sells each year at the Blue Ribbon Run in Wilmington, NC to raise money for a cure and awareness for prevention. Bleu has her own page called Bleu's Colon Clues to give "bark outs" to save lives. Bleu is five years old and is happy to paint with kids her own age to give back and make a difference! You can find Bleu on TikTok at @bleubrown and Instagram at @bleubrown1. You can bid on Bleu's paintings (items 83, 84, and 85) at https://e.givesmart.com/events/lCT/i/_Auction/e5y3/
