Natalie Pridemore, LMBT #1380. There are many tools for treating and maintaining these bodies we were given; let’s figure out how to use them!
That’s what Natalie started doing as a runner in high school who was already
cramping her style with sprains – she worked at internships in local physical therapy clinics here in Wilmington, NC. Experience practicing their modalities used in therapeutic recovery led Natalie to draw her focus to massage therapy. This came natural to her and when finding Coastal Carolina Institute of Massage Therapy in Wilmington, it was Eureka! Our muscles love to be manipulated in the right way, being triggered to release spasms and contractions that cause pain for many people. While moving in and out of the United States since then, she
has returned to Wilmington and continues to practice and learn as a massage therapist, mom, surfer, yogi and walker (with her dog).
“By learning more, I know that I will always have more to give. That
includes practicing what I preach. I am responsible for myself – what I eat, how I move with exercise and rest. I schedule my own massage therapy sessions and yoga is my movement therapy. These two modalities have been my greatest tools to keep my body, mind and spirit up for work and play. I wish to help everyone who comes to me do the same for themselves." Natalie is now working at Back in Motion Chiropractic and Massage on Oleander Drive, across from the Arboretum and next to Saltworks restaurant.

An important part of any massage is the oil or cream that is used on your skin. Not only does it maintain the smooth flow during your massage; Coconut gives powerful benefits to your skin and hair. It has also taken over my kitchen, kicking out the other oils I have used in cooking!! Take a look.....

I watched the 2015 Food Revolution Summit and the broad source of information we receive from these speakers doesn't JUST expose negative aspects that go along with the ways in which we are destroying our health and planet. The most EMPOWERING part is the encouragement - I know more about what's already happening to create changes and how we all can take part in continuing and expanding this in our communities. I HIGHLY recommend taking this opportunity that is being offered. Enjoy the summit; it's exciting!
