Last week, an amendment to the Farm Bill has been offered that would federally ban all ingestible h**p products that have the potential to impair consumers. This amendment from Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) would federally criminalize popular adult products like Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC consumables. While we strongly support regulating these products – and especially keeping them out of the hands of children – taking h**p back to the dark days of prohibition is a very dangerous idea.

The Mary Miller amendment – built on proposals offered by monopoly-seeking ma*****na - aims to eliminate ALL h**p products containing ANY amount of THC. This means death to the CBD industry as well as to h**p. Every crop contains some THC, and every product that is not a pharmaceutical CBD (GW) or made with a simple API isolate contains some amount of trace THC.
