Caring for our wellbeing and the wellbeing of the Earth is a part of living mindfully and intentionally.

I’ve been planting more native plants every year and am gradually phasing out grass in the front yard. I love creating wildlife and pollinator habitat. 💕 It requires less water, as natives are well adapted to the local environmental conditions. It requires no pesticides, which is healthier for us all. And the caterpillars, butterflies, birds, and bees love it. I love my little native ecosystem. I’m always happy to chat about it if you’re interested in doing something similar.

The International Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism announces that our beloved teacher Thich Nhat Hanh has passed away peacefully at Từ Hiếu Temple in Huế, Vietnam, on 22nd January, 2022, at the age of 95.
