One of 20 children ages 3 to 5 has a vision problem that could result in permanent vision if left untreated. Despite this, 80 percent of preschoolers do not receive an eye screening.

Children’s Eye Health and Safety Awareness Month encourages parents to learn how to protect their child’s eyesight and save their child’s eyesight from vision threatening conditions through regular eye exams, hence early detection and proper treatment.

Have you taken your littles to the eye doc?

"This is their space to be who they are." 👈 How beautiful is that?

This article talks about how a sensory place creates an area for students, especially neurodivergent children, where they can feel accepted and stress-free.

Neurodivergent children are often told that they “aren’t doing it right.” They spend a lot of their energy and focus wondering: Am I sitting still enough? Am I being quiet enough?... But there is no “doing it wrong” in the sensory space, as long as they aren’t hurting themselves or others."

Great read. Check it out --> https://www.edutopia.org/article/how-and-why-create-sensory-space-neurodivergent-students

With around $150 and help from the leadership team and support staff, two educators created a space where students can release stress.
