Married to the Ring organized a boxing ring experience in the UK for 21 individuals from the United States of America, some of whom were vetted to speak alongside of a Global Faith based organization from the United Kingdom who invited other nations to join us ( over 300 attendees were in the audience)

On the flight, an airline host, pictured below in the 4th picture), expressed admiration and inquired about our organization's stance on LGBTQ marriages.

As the Chief Visionary Officer, my response was unequivocal and remains unchanged. We uphold the principles enshrined in God's word, which sanctify heterosexual marriages as the highest institution on earth, albeit one that has been and continues to be assailed.

I explained that while we deny no one, regardless of their beliefs, the opportunity to learn from our values, we explicitly state our beliefs upfront, affording consumers the choice to opt for alternative companies if they disagree. Our stance remains uncompromised.

Why You Should Never Allow a Client to Speak Against Your Spouse When Doing Business

As a professional, it is crucial to maintain a clear boundary between your personal and professional life. This includes not allowing clients to make disparaging remarks about your spouse when conducting business.

Here's why:

It is Unprofessional and Disrespectful:

Allowing a client to speak negatively about your spouse while you are conducting business is disrespectful to both you and your partner. It creates an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment and undermines your authority.

It Can Damage Your Relationship with Your Spouse:

Hearing someone criticize your spouse, especially in a professional setting, can be hurtful and damaging to your relationship. It can lead to feelings of resentment, anger, and a lack of trust.

It Can Impact Your Professional Reputation:

If clients perceive that you tolerate disrespect towards your spouse, it can reflect poorly on your professional reputation. It may make potential clients question your judgment and ability to handle challenging situations.

It Sets a Bad Precedent:

If you allow a client to speak negatively about your spouse once, it sets a precedent that such behavior is acceptable. It may encourage other clients to follow suit, creating a toxic work environment.

It is Not Necessary for Business:

There is no business reason for a client to make personal remarks about your spouse. If a client has a legitimate concern related to your work, it should be addressed professionally and respectfully without resorting to personal attacks.

Remember, your spouse is not a part of the business deal (learn to compartmentalize), and their personal life should not be a topic of discussion with clients. If a client makes inappropriate comments about your spouse, it is essential to address the situation immediately and professionally. You can firmly yet politely inform the client that their remarks are unacceptable and should not be repeated. If the client continues to behave inappropriately, it may be necessary to end the business relationship to protect your personal and professional well-being.

The Man Behind the Ring!

While the world retreated indoors yesterday in the snow, I took my place at work. And who should join me but this handsome gentleman, my dear husband.

Despite his Married to the Ring sweatshirt, he surprised me by showing up at my office, ready to work alongside me.

He is more than just my spouse. He is my shadow, my protector, my business colleague, the father and bonus father to our children, and grandfather to our 5 grandchildren.

Together, we navigate the complexities of life, supporting each other every step of the way.

🎉 Happy New Year to my colleagues and connections around the world! As we embark on 2025, let's reflect on the profound truth that God is the ultimate builder of everything.

Embrace the divine plan tailored specifically for you. Never shy away from opposition; it's an inherent part of building your life according to His precepts.

Align your professional and personal journeys with God's plan and experience His guidance and protection. Trust in His sovereignty and faithfulness, especially in challenging times.

To strengthen your trust, record yourself declaring your beliefs about God's sovereignty and faithfulness. Be specific about your challenges and how you trust Him to work through them. Regularly play back this voice note as a reminder of your faith.

Seek wisdom and discernment from God to navigate opposition effectively. Remember, His plan is ultimately for your benefit and growth. Persevere in building your life according to His principles and witness His promises unfolding.

In 2025, we're encountering a spiritual awakening, significant social or political change, and a course correction all at once. It's imperative to make the right decisions, with the right people, at the right time. Pay close attention to the details.

You Don't Need Them to Succeed: Embrace the Awakening

In this Sunday morning reflection, I want to address a powerful message: you don't need certain people to succeed in life. While we all need people, it's crucial to surround ourselves with the right individuals who genuinely support and stimulate our growth.

The Need for the Right People

The people we choose to have in our lives matter. Some individuals may have outgrown their purpose in our journey and no longer align with our aspirations. It's essential to acknowledge when we've outgrown certain relationships and seek out those who can challenge us intellectually and emotionally.

A New Beginning

Today marks a new week, the last Sunday of the year, and the first Sunday of the new year. This unique moment invites us to reflect on our personal and professional lives and pay closer attention to God's promises for our future. Nothing is wrong with us; if God said it, there is no plan B.

The Awakening

The word "awakening" in this context refers to becoming conscious of our worth, potential, and resilience. It's a realization that we can't be broken by betrayal or setbacks because God's DNA doesn't include that. We are responsible for what we allow into our lives, and it's time to align ourselves with those capable of handling our growth.

Spiritual, Social, and Political Change

We're experiencing a convergence of spiritual awakening, significant social or political change, and a course correction. It's imperative to re-evaluate, re-engineer, and establish our next steps aligned with these changes. Failure to do so by December 2024 will put you behind.

Embrace the Process

Embrace and trust the process. Sometimes it's painful because we're enduring the inevitable. But always remember, the price becomes right when you are properly positioned.

Call to Action

Spend quality time with God, lean in, and acquire wisdom from Him alone. Your ultimate relationship starts with you. How you see YOURSELF through the lens of God matters.

As we approach the end of 2024, I'd like to invite you to reflect on the past year and consider the lessons we've learned. For those who have experienced loss or disappointment, I encourage you to read my blog post, "The Pink Slip Was Necessary: It Was a Blessing in Disguise."

In my blog post titled, “The Pink Slip Was Necessary: It was a blessing in disguise, I share my personal journey of overcoming adversity and finding new opportunities after being terminated from Corporate America in 2005. I believe that our setbacks can be steppingstones to something greater, and I hope my story will inspire you to embrace change and walk boldly into your new season.

If you're struggling with how to recover from a setback or activate your faith in the midst of uncertainty, I highly recommend grabbing my book published in 2019 titled, "The Setback Fueled My Faith", on Amazon.

Let's end 2024 on a positive note by forgiving the past, letting go of what no longer serves us, and preparing to thrive in the year ahead.

What if I told you the pink slip that was given to you was necessary? I know it may not seem like it right at this moment, but I want to share with you, it is a blessing in disguise.

The Art of Building Community

At Tanya Associated Business Services (TABS), we’ve been in the community development business for 17 years, alongside our sister company Vision Builders and Associates, formerly Williamson General Contractors.

At TABS, we started out doing pre-development, construction planning, and management, but we soon realized that we were actually working as professional community and economic development practitioners too!

Our experience and travels across the globe have taught us a lot about building stronger communities through commercial and residential real estate and world-class businesses.

Although we were already doing the work, we’re excited to announce that receiving this certification after back-to-back travels the past weeks, adding this certification to our arsenal, solidifies our knowledge and experience in this field.

We’re committed to helping communities thrive, and we’re always looking for new ways to make a difference.
