Goodbye 2023. Hello 2024.

This year has been a wild ride, and I'm so grateful for all that it brought.

More adventures with Maisie.
My parents visiting for 2 weeks.
Hosting another great Women's Health Summit with a few of my favorite ladies.
Lots of morning sunrises on the water.
Seeing my family in NY and getting to see my niece & nephew.
Watching one of my favorite people in the world run her first marathon and crush it!
Another great year with my team at Women In Strength.

2024 is going to be another big year of challenges and growth, and I'm so excited to see what the year brings...

Huge shoutout to my friend & former intern at for completing her 1st marathon!

I am so proud of you, Lynzee, for setting a goal and absolutely crushing it! And I'm so grateful that I was able to make it out to Indy to see you and Liz && see all that you're up to in your new city and support you during your race

(Only slightly sad I didn't run into any while in Indianapolis)

Maisie dialed in for her workout today.

Her program consists of running to greet every member, stand on members to add extra weight to their core training or stretches, and most importantly, chase tennis balls.

Huge shout out to my client Stephanie!

Stephanie and I have been working together for about 3 months. One of her goals was to be able to do a full plank push-up.

She's put in the work during our training sessions, AND she's been working on push ups at home.

Steph not only hit her goal of doing 1 push-up but can crush 5-6 in a row!💪🏼

Next up, pull ups!😈

𝘾𝙇𝙄𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙎𝙋𝙊𝙏𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏
I met Christy at right before the world shut down. We've been working together remotely for a little over a year now.
From the beginning, Christy has put her all into both her workouts and nutrition. Each month she'd ask for a bigger challenge and she'd meet those challenges head on.
She's an inspiration and an absolute bad ass!

3 Reasons I Became a Fitness Coach

𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.
2 of my larger passions in life are fitness and helping others.
There are many jobs out there where you can help people to varying degrees on a daily basis and make a positive impact on them.
For me, personal training was exactly that. I wanted to help others make changes within their lives and experience the benefits of exercise, building a healthy and sustainable relationship with food, and having a positive mindset towards themselves and their life.
10 years of training myself. 4 years of training others. And I still love every day of it.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
As much as I am a homebody and an extroverted introvert, I LOVE connecting with people. I’m not big on groups of people, but when I’m with someone one on one and able to give my total focus to them, building a connection of trust and understanding, I'm happy. I enjoy learning about them and their Why's.

𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺.
I have the ability to work with those that I want to work with. I have the freedom to create my own schedule, set the hours I want, and take time off as I want.
This freedom allows me to work more on my business, to enjoy time by myself or with family and friends. It allows me to have energy so I can give my clients my full attention during our training sessions.

25 Lessons I've Learned in My Years in this World

1. Ask for help and accept help when it's offered.
2. It's okay to say No & you don't have to explain why.
3. Listen to your heart & gut...they'll never lie to you.
4. Don't waste time on people who waste your time...also don't waste theirs.
5. Change happens. Don't fear it & roll with it.
6. Explore - move out of your home town, travel, try new things!
7. Whatever you do, do it for you and only you.
8. Eat the damn cake (or donut).
9. Choose your friends wisely, hold them close, cherish them.
10. Stop holding grudges. Life's too short and there's too much to be happy about.
11. Learn to respond, react.
12. Reflect...a lot. The good, the bad, learn from it.
13. Take time to focus on YOU - who you are and what you want.
14. You don't have to be everyone's friend & they don't have to be yours.
15. It's okay to p**s people off...it shows their true colors.
16. Spend time alone & learn about yourself outside of a relationship.
17. I am responsible for my own actions, no one else is.  Nor am i responsible for theirs.
18. You always have a choice. Always.
19. Love deeply. Yourself, your family, your friends, your hobbies, etc. Whatever it is, lead with love.
20. Smile and laugh during the sh*tty times.
21. Cut off the things that aren't necessary to hold onto and that are holding you back.
22. Cry... Feel everything you need to, happy, sad, angry,  whatever.  If you need to cry,  do it.
23. Cherish the special moments and memories that are being created. Be present.
24. You'll fail...a lot. That's okay, just never give up.
25. Be true to yourself.

Smile.

With what 2020 was, I'm sure it's hard for some to find a reason to smile.

Even though it's been a mess of a year, it's taught me to smile.

To smile through the bad times just as much as I do with the good times.

No matter what, life is going to throw challenges at us. Whether it's a world pandemic, losing a job, losing a loved one or uprooting your life.

Smile through it all.

I promise a smile will change your mindset...you'll start searching for the positive in every situation, no matter how dark it may be.

Thanking 2020 for all the lessons and challenges. But it's time to say goodbye. And hello to 2021 and a new year of more growth!

Happy New Year!

Our Story

Since starting my fitness journey and interning at a strength & conditioning gym a few years ago, health and fitness coaching has become a passion of mine and is something that I want to pass onto other people. I started online coaching when schedules and travel time became a problem for my clients. Coaching remotely has helped to open up the opportunity for clients to workout on their own time, focus on their health, and still enjoy the benefits of having a coach to push them towards their goals.
