"Amnesty International Day, a May 28 holiday, recognizes the need to protect human rights around the world. While the title of this day directly speaks of the Amnesty International Organization, this day is actually dedicated to improving Human Rights around the world. The Amnesty International organization strives to accomplish its goals by providing awareness and recognition of the issues. In essence, their goal is to make the world a better place. They work to publicize local and regional problems and to arouse citizens, governments, and politicians to action.

Amnesty International fights for Human Rights around the world. They seek to end any form of human rights abuses wherever they are found. This includes times of war and times of peace. They are a voice for unfairly imprisoned people and a voice for those in need of help. And they seek governments to make or change laws as needed.

How to Participate in Amnesty International Day
Here are a few ideas on how to participate in and celebrate this holiday:

Learning more about human rights issues.
Becoming active in human rights causes.
Writing your politician on human rights issues.
Dedicate your time and efforts to help Amnesty International reach its goals.

What S*x Ed Really Teaches (Hint: It’s Not Just About S*x)
S*x ed is more than just "the talk." It’s learning:
