crockpot Turkey Chili
Ingredients
* 1 ½ lb ground turkey breast
* 1 large onion, diced
* 1 red bell pepper, diced
* 1 orange bell pepper, diced
* 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
* 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
* 2 (16 oz) cans beans (kidney, black, or pinto), drained and rinsed
* 2–3 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
* 1–2 tsp cumin
* 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
* ½–1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
* Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Sauté the turkey and vegetables
* Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
* Add the ground turkey and cook until mostly browned, breaking it up.
* Add the diced onions, garlic and bell peppers, sauté for 3–5 minutes until slightly softened.
2. Transfer to crockpot
* Add browned turkey and vegetables to the crockpot.
* Stir in crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, drained beans, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper.
3.
* Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
4.
* Taste and adjust seasoning

Macros per serving (1⅓ cups)
* Calories: ~328 kcal
* Protein: ~33 g
* Carbs: ~36 g
* Fat: ~4.5 g
* Fiber: ~9 g

Notes I did 1 tsp salt and 45 grinds pepper
2 1/2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp minced garlic

If you’re going to step on the scale, make sure you’re doing it the right way so you get consistent, accurate results — not mixed signals 👇
1️⃣ Weigh first thing in the morning — after using the bathroom, before eating or drinking anything.�2️⃣ Use the same scale every time (different scales = different readings).�3️⃣ Wear minimal or no clothing. Keep conditions consistent.�4️⃣ Place your scale on a hard, flat surface (not carpet!).�5️⃣ Stand still, centered, and balanced with both feet evenly on the scale.�6️⃣ Track trends, not daily changes.

Pork bites were delicious!
Here is the recipe. I did substitute pork tenderloin instead, lemon juice instead of lime and jarred minced ginger since it was what I had on hand. Kids loved these!

PORK BITES
Recipe From a Twisted plate
Perfectly flavored Pork Bites are perfect as an appetizer or dinner! Marinated with Coconut Amino, Ginger and spices then cooked until perfectly crispy. This easy pork recipe is perfect for dinner or as an appetizer for a party served with mustard sauce!
Total Time: 30 mins Yield: 4 servings 1x
INGREDIENTS
Marinade:

2/3 cup Coconut Amino. * see note
1/3 cup Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, minced (1/2 teaspoon dried ginger)
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Honey. **see note
1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
Pork:
1 pound Boneless Pork Chops
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Paprika
INSTRUCTIONS
Prep:

Combine all the Marinade ingredients into a Mason Jar, Measuring Cup or Bowl
Cut the pork into 1 inch squares
Rub Pork Seasoning onto the Pork Squares
Put the Seasoned Pork Squares and Marinade into a seal-able container.
Put in the fridge for 30 minutes - 2 days (make sure you check the date on you pork before putting it in for longer then a day)
Cooking:

Pre-heat the Oven to 350°F
Put the pork bites onto broiling pan or cooking sheet with a rack
Cook for 10 minutes, flip, cook for another 10 minutes, or till fully cooked, 145°F
Serve hot or cold, ENJOY!
NOTES
*if substituting Soy Sauce omit the 1/2 teaspoon of Sea Salt
