🍏🌸Yoga Offerings for Week of 4.27🍏🌸

Tuesday @ 10— Soften & Flow 🪶

Thursday @ 10 — Still Waters 🌕
(restorative yin, slow and low to the ground)

✨ Fridays class is canceled this week due to Apple Blossom festivities ✨

This week in town can feel full … the buzz, the schedules shifting, the energy of everything happening around us as the community moves through the beauty of the Shenandoah Apple blossom festival 🍏🌸

And in the middle of all of that… there’s also you.

Your body. Your breath. Your capacity to soften instead of tighten. To choose nourishment instead of depletion.

Let this be your reminder that you don’t have to match the pace of the week around you. You can move through it differently. You can stay regulated in the middle of the noise. You can come out of it not just having “made it through,” but feeling steady, replenished, and genuinely well.

I’ll meet you on the mat where we slow things down on purpose.

Four track meets this week. Apple Blossom next week. Wi******er is buzzing and the to-do list doesn’t quit.

If I don’t carve out the time, it’s not going to happen.

Life is just going to life - especially in the spring.

I’m showing up for myself tomorrow morning. One hour. Slow movement, intentional breath, nothing to perform or prove.

Yesterday I took part in a powerful cacao ceremony. Because I know that I can only give from what I tend.

I sat with all that wanted to be seen and felt. My guides and ancestors. The cycles we come here as souls to complete. The things passed down that we carry, examine, and eventually lay down.

I came home tired…actually I’m STILL so tired.
But grounded in space at the same time.

What landed most was this: a practice in stillness. That there is no benefit or need in being a prisoner to the “hurry up” syndrome. And an intention that keeps circling back is to be of peaceful service.

That’s what THIS is, At Ease Yoga, at its core.

Not a performance of wellness. But a quiet tending. Of self, of others, of something older than any of us. In the sacred stillness.

The mat is where I practice it. The ceremony was a reminder of why.

If rest feels radical to you right now, you’re not alone.

Here's what's on the mat this week from me:

Tuesday 10am - Soften & Flow 🪶
Gentle movement to loosen the grip of the week. We move slow on purpose.

Thursday 10am - Still Waters ☯️
Yin style. This one is deep reset and rest. Your nervous system will thank you.

Friday 10am - Embodied Morning 🌞
The best way I know to start a Friday. Grounded, present, yours.
