Outdoor Hatha Morning Flow Yoga tomorrow morning on the hill in Ellison Bay at the Liberty Grove Historical Society. Beautiful view as you flow through your yoga practice. 7:30-8:30 am ending with a guided relaxation. $15 drop in - cash or check. Bring your mat! (Cancelled in the event of rain.)

Morning flow Hatha yoga begins next Wednesday! Outdoors at the Liberty Grove Historical Society. Bring your yoga mat or maybe a beach towel. We’ll ground to the earth and reach for the sky. Class will be canceled in the event of rain. I hope to see you there!

I apologize for the late notice, but I'm going to cancel the remaining yoga classes at Kick Ash for now. The busy summertime traffic is a bit too loud for yoga practice on the deck. I love teaching yoga at Kick Ash, it's a beautiful space with a lovely energy thanks to Carol and Christian Ash! I want to continue to share yoga in the Ellison Bay area for the summer, I will look at space at a local park for now, most likely sometime after July 4th. Happy Summer Solstice!

I’m bringing a little of Taos home with me. Crafting sage smudge sticks today. Harvested early in the day. Blessed with healing Reiki energy, infused with Taos sunshine and love.

The dandelion is the only flower that represents the 3 celestial bodies of the sun, moon and stars.
The yellow flower resembles the sun, the puff ball resembles the moon and the dispersing seeds resemble the stars.
The dandelion flower opens to greet the morning and closes in the evening to go to sleep.
Every part of the dandelion is useful: root, leaves, flower. It can be used for food, medicine and dye for colouring.
Up until the 1800s people would pull grass out of their lawns to make room for dandelions and other useful “weeds” like chickweed, malva, and chamomile.
The name dandelion is taken from the French word “dent de lion” meaning lion’s tooth, referring to the coarsely-toothed leaves.
Dandelions have one of the longest flowering seasons of any plant.
Seeds are often carried as many as 5 miles from their origin !
