My name is Becky, and I'm so glad you found your way here! Just like many people, my life took several twists and turns throughout my adult life. I have studied Accounting with hopes of obtaining CPA credentials, worked for many different employers doing customer service, shipping, bookkeeping, and even just simply making sure production paperwork gets to the right people. Each and every experience brought me lessons that helped me grow as a person, but none felt like “my purpose”. I sought it out to the point of wondering if I even have a purpose. And then energy healing came into my life. Each and every time I am blessed with a client to serve, I grow and heal with them. I continue to seek, but now not for my purpose, but for what else I can learn that I can then use to be of even more support and assistance. So, if you have not yet found your own path, it may not have presented itself just yet. I spent almost 3 decades investigating and searching, keeping my mind open and aware of whatever might be the next thing to try, before my path laid itself out in front of me. Meanwhile I raised 3 children and dealt with several relationships that failed. I’ve experienced narcissist after narcissist…some seemed to only be that because of me…until I finally declared out loud that I was worth more than what I had been allowing myself to have. And that simple declaration changed enemy for me. Whatever you do, keep going. Keep on keeping on, as they say. Allow life to happen FOR you. Take in as many lessons as you can. And when you start feeling stuck, ask questions. In fact, question everything to understand who you are. The TRUE you…not the You everyone says you *should* be. The You that you KNOW you are! If you are struggling with that, know you are not alone. I hear you. I feel you. I am here if you would like support. All you need to do is reach out. We will get through it together. Namaste!

4 intense weekends over 4 short months has been completed as of 3:30 pm today. Healing with sound is more powerful than I imagined, or even anticipated. The energetic connections I made with my classmates during the course were a welcomed surprise, and will be cherished for infinity. I was expecting to walk out of the final class exuberant. Anxious to bring sound healing to my community. While I am feeling all that, I am also feeling humbled. I am grateful and blessed to have been able to experience such a small sampling of what sound can do, not just for the body, but for the soul too.

It's a common misunderstanding that Reiki is a religion. It truly isn't. Once a month my Reiki teacher hosts a get-together she calls Nurture Group. It's for her students and other fellow practitioners. We have snacks, catch up with each other, discuss Reiki related topics, ask questions, share experiences and give each other Reiki Sessions. We uplift and empower each other, too. So I suppose in a way this is similar to gathering for a church service, but that's where it parts ways.

Reiki is available to all of us no matter which religion we connect to, if any. It's definitely spiritual for many, but also doesn't have to be experienced as that. It is whatever we need it to be for us in each moment.

Reiki is not a religion and requires no spiritual belief system, that is one of the most powerful things about it!

I don't know about all of you, but I could never allow my breaking points to be noticeable to others. In hindsight it was because I never felt like I was in a safe space. This is why one of my top priorities with Serenity Ignited is to offer a place where people CAN feel safe, which I believe will make it easier to release what weighs you down.
