Wake Forest Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine Residency Program Wake Forest is proud of the clinical acumen that our residents achieve during their time in training from the extensive breadth of clinical opportunities.

We are a four-year ACGME accredited program that is designed to foster the development of highly skilled psychiatrists who will be well-prepared for successful professional careers in the future. Our objective is for all of our residents to become well-rounded, expertly-trained, board-certified psychiatrists who are committed to a lifetime of honing and perfecting their craft. We employ carefully

designed clinical and educational experiences to develop the core competencies of psychiatry as set out in the ACGME Milestones and far beyond!
