🦃 Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

In honor of Thanksgiving, residents at Elizabethtown Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center traced their hands to create colorful turkeys and wrote what they are most thankful for on each feather.

It was a heartwarming way to reflect on gratitude and celebrate the spirit of the season together. We’re so thankful for our residents, staff and the joy they bring to our community every day! 🧡

Residents at The Pavilion Health Center at Brightmore enjoyed a festive Thanksgiving-themed activity: Roll a Turkey! 🎲🦃

Each roll of the dice added wings, legs or feathers to their turkey. Everyone raced to complete their turkey first for a chance to win fun turkey décor for their room.

The best part? The hilarious table talk:
“I need a wing!”
“I still need two turkey legs!”

Engaging activities like this bring so much joy and connection to our community. 💙

Join us in honoring Mr. Carlton Wilson and wishing him a very happy 100th birthday! 🎉🇺🇸

Carlton is our oldest veteran at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Alamance County and the only one who served in WWII—a true American hero and an inspiration to us all.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Wilson! 🎂

A Triad man who bravely served his country in World War II just celebrated his 100th birthday.

Our residents at Golden Years Nursing Home have been busy spreading holiday cheer in the most meaningful way 🎄✨

They packed Christmas Shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse, filling each one with love and hope to be sent to children around the world. We are so proud of their generosity and the joy they pour into this project every year! ❤️📦

Thank you to our wonderful residents for reminding us what the season is all about.

Residents and staff at Capital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center had a blast during their Fall Festival and Spirit Week! Each day brought something new:

• Monday: Color Day with Apple Cider & Donuts 🍎
• Tuesday: Wacky Hair Day & Veteran Celebration 🍏
• Wednesday: Western Day with Photobooth Fun 🤠
• Thursday: Cozy/Comfy Day + The Great Capital Bakeoff 🥧
• Friday: Sports Day with a visit from the Spud Kings Food Truck 🏈

Smiles and laughter filled our halls during a week of festive fun! 💙

A big thank you to AgCarolina Farm Credit for spreading so much joy at Mary Gran Nursing Center!

Their team generously refreshed our outdoor sitting area with flowers, windchimes, flags, walking stones, birdhouses and even a bird bath -- creating a peaceful, welcoming space for our residents and families to enjoy.

They also surprised us with instruments, board games, card games and a music keyboard. These items will help spark even more opportunities for laughter, connection and creativity inside our community.

We’re so grateful for partners like Ag Carolina Farm Credit who help make every day brighter for our residents. 💙

We are thrilled to celebrate Leigh Granger's graduation from our rehabilitation program at The Pavilion Health Center at Brightmore! 🎓

With the help of our occupational and physical therapy team, Leigh has achieved amazing progress and is excited to return home stronger than ever.

A huge shoutout to our therapy team for their unwavering support, encouragement and dedication every step of the way. This is what compassionate care looks like! 💙

There’s been so much joy and activity lately at Westfield Rehabilitation and Health Center, and we’re excited to share a few highlights!

🎉 Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying bingo and fellowship with Clay Vessel Church members.

🎴 A lively game of poker sparked some fun competition around the card table.

🧁 Residents celebrated National Cupcake Day by preparing delicious sweet treats together.

👏 Congratulations to Vernie, our newly elected Resident Council President!

Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Johnston County decked their halls with festive Angel Tree garland. Each ornament represents a resident you can bless this holiday season. 🎄✨

For some residents, the holidays can feel especially tough—whether they’re far from loved ones or without a strong support system. That’s why we’re inviting our community to choose an angel and help spread a little extra joy.

Each ornament includes a resident’s holiday wish list. Many requests are for simple necessities like warm socks or clothing, while others ask for favorite snacks or sweet treats. Every gift can make a meaningful difference.
