I met with a client today who reminded me why “your labs are normal” is not the end of the story. 📖
She originally came to me with:
• abdominal bloating + epigastric pain
• constipation
• dry, itchy, flaky scalp and skin
• acne
• hot flashes at night
• insomnia
• anxiety + low mood
• known hypothyroidism, but still symptomatic
Her primary doctors labs were labeled “normal”, yet she felt far from well. 😏
We ran a deeper, more comprehensive panel and found:
— magnesium, vitamin D, and B-vitamin deficiencies
— elevated homocysteine
— blood sugar dysregulation
— low stomach acid
— and underlying Hashimoto’s
For the last 6 weeks we’ve focused on improving stomach acid, nutrient repletion, nervous system support, mineral-rich hydration, and shifting to whole foods while removing gluten and added sugars.
Today she reported…
✨ all symptoms resolved
✨ daily easy bowel movements
✨ no more bloating, skin issues, mood shifts, or sleep disruption
(Only epigastric pain if she forgets her enzymes!)
This is why optimal labs matter. 🤩
This is why whole-body work matters. 🙌🏻
You don’t have to live in survival mode just because your labs look “fine.” ♥️
Sample of what a view through the optimal lens 🔎and our functional report looks like. Your own biochemistry broken down and related to the WHY behind your symptoms. 💪🏼
