Established in 1983, Florida Cardiology, P.A.’s Goal was to bring quality healthcare to their patients close to the community they live in. Today, we now has seven convenient office locations in the Greater Orlando area with state of the art diagnostic facilities and a freestanding cardiac catheterization laboratory. We also have sixteen Cardiologists complimented by one physician assistant and five nurse practitioners as well as a highly trained clinical support staff. And it doesn’t stop there, Florida Cardiology is currently pursuing opportunities to expand geographic coverage and services as we explore new technologies and treatments. At Florida Cardiology, We emphasize on positive patient experience, we believe that a successful partnership between the patient, family, primary care physician and the cardiologist is the recipe for a healthy heart. Florida Cardiology performs all types of diagnostic angiographic studies of the heart and vascular system as well as peripheral vascular interventions. We want each and every patient to leave our facilities feeling that we have exceeded their expectations, both medically and professionally. Florida Cardiology provides comprehensive adult cardiology services that include noninvasive/invasive diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions to support referring physicians and to achieve the highest degree of quality and efficiency close to the community in this ever-changing healthcare environment. We utilize fourteen of the major hospital systems and participate in the majority of insurance carriers in the Greater Orlando area. To provide easy access for patient referral, better communication and better access to our patient records, we have created a unique, fully secured web enabled service, which our referring physician offices can access at any time and from anywhere. In addition, Florida Cardiology uses VConnectMD a fully secure HIPAA Compliant text, e-mail, and chat service to protect our patient records when communicating with hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Our physicians are board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and/or Interventional Cardiology. Several of our physicians even participate in research trials with new drugs and devices. While some have been or currently are Director of Cardiac Cath lab, Chief of Medicine Department, Vice President of a Hospital and President elect of a Hospital in various locations.
