The hamstring is not a muscle.
The quadricep is not a muscle.
They are both groups of muscles on our upper legs.
If you tell your therapist, "I tore my quadricep", they are going to want to know which one and where. 🧐😀

This image shows a technique called skin rolling. It's one way to release tight fascia. Once fascia releases, it can be easier to work the muscles deeper.
