The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is looking to hire more lifeguards and they have raised the starting pay from $16 per hour to $19 per hour. Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a lifeguard this summer? Pawlak Aquatics Management is offering blended learning lifeguard classes this summer! These classes combine online learning, classroom learning, and in-water practice sessions. Entry level and recertification classes are both offered. Classes cover life saving techniques used in aquatic emergencies, first aid, CPR, and AED training.
Requirements: Be at least 15 years of age, and an able swimmer.
