It’s been some daysss for sure 🤪 I was on a round the clock respite care job (with dog breaks of course )for a week ! It was long and exhausting and also I feel really good that a family trusts such care for their family with me 🙂. I do offer respite care locally and most families I have an arrangement that I have to go be with dogs a few times a day for a couple hours 🙂 it’s worked wonderfully as this is my 4th time with this family but I’ve don’t this level of care quite a bit before .

When your client thinks you’re not going to get her out for a walk cause she absolutely needs it but didn’t want to lol … guess what we walked ! She felt better , was breathing better and O2 definitely went up . I don’t push or force , I nicely make sure that my clients are getting the best care needed professionally and emotionally,cause they need to trust you when they’re scared to do things out of their comfort zone !

No matter the struggles , or how many breaks we need , this every day CNA will get you moving 🥰 moving hips and legs and just getting up is amazing for your body . It’s not a race it doesn’t matter how long it takes , helping my clients is my goal no matter what it takes, even if it takes some island tunes and a little bribe 😬😂

When your tiny little home health client has the most softest , coolest wolf sweatshirt and you put it on lol ! Shocked it fit but it was one of those comfy sweatshirts and it’s WOLVES! I kept saying if it goes missing don’t ask lol … she put it on lmao … but off oxygen most of the day , laundry folded and put away , walked , a little exercise and assisting with some bathing ! She did amazing !

Exercise can be many forms… getting someone back to the thing they do is the best feeling ! We’ve got a bit of a road but in 3 weeks we’ve went from constant oxygen to hours without it. We do PT, massage after showers, walks , chair yoga , breathing exercises and of course chats and stories ! I’m excited for the progress as look forward to more with this lovely woman .
