✦ A moment worth celebrating ✦
There are milestones that don't make the news — but they should.
This week, one of my clients reached a moment we have been building toward together — she no longer needs her walker. She came to our session with only her cane, and in that small shift lives an enormous victory.
She is a two-time cancer survivor. A warrior in the truest sense of the word. And when I say that, I don't mean it lightly. I mean a woman who has faced what most people only fear, twice, and has chosen — again and again — to rise.
Four weeks ago, we began working together with a goal on the horizon: a family trip this summer. Something beautiful to look forward to. Something to move toward.
And move she has.
Three times a week — two sessions together, one on her own — she has shown up. Consistently. With intention. With heart. In just four weeks, I have watched her confidence bloom in the way her body holds itself, the way her feet find the ground, the strength and precision she brings to every movement.
God doesn't waste anything. Not the hard years, not the healing, not a single step forward.
Today, we celebrate this step. The walker is behind her now. She arrives with her cane and she arrives strong — with power, with grace, with her eyes set on summer and everything waiting for her there.
This is why I do this work. To witness what the body is capable of when it is guided, supported, and believed in.
To my client: thank you for trusting me with your journey. I am honored to walk alongside you.
