Please welcome Latishia Carter to the Insights Psychology team

We are excited to have Latishia Carter, MA, LPCC join our growing team of dedicated mental health professionals. Latishia is pursuing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology, and is completing her practicum at Insights Psychology under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Latishia brings a compassionate, client-centered approach and a strong commitment to supporting individuals through life’s challenges.

Latishia works with adults aged 18 and above and provides individual therapy both in person at our Woodbury location and virtually across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Her therapeutic approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing.

She specializes in a wide range of areas including anxiety, depression, panic disorders, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma/PTSD, stress, self-esteem, relationship issues, life transitions, emotional disturbances, and coping skills. She also offers support in Christian counseling, racial identity, and multicultural and diverse background concerns.

We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will make in our community.
