Looking for something FUN, educational, and high-energy for your child this spring?

Our 6-week Youth STEAM Program kicks off soon and is packed with hands-on exploration in:
🔬 Science
💻 Technology
🏗 Engineering
🎨 Arts
➗ Math
🥁and of course we added a little EXERCISE FAMILY FUN with Music!

Each week features a new theme — from building challenges and STEM game nights to art creation and even Family Fun Drumming Fitness! 🥁

💦🎉 We’re not just Back — we’re Better! 🎉💦

After full day of clean up after the storm, The Gloucester County YMCA is officially open regular hours on Tuesday 2/24— and thanks to our dedicated maintenance team, our pool is fully back in action and we’ve expanded our pool hours!

That means more time for:
🏊 Lap swimming
💧 Water walking & recreation swim
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family swim time
💪 Aquatic fitness classes
🎉 Pool Parties
And coming next month: new aquatics programming like Saturday Sensory Friendly Swim time, Teen Aqua Sports, Family Fun Nights and more!

Due to ongoing blizzard conditions, the Gloucester County YMCA will remain closed on Monday, February 23rd.

While many main roads have been cleared, several communities are still working to make local roads safe for travel. The safety of our members, families, and staff is always our top priority.

Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, the Gloucester County YMCA will be closed tomorrow morning, Monday, February 23rd.

🏀🔥 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🔥🏀

Spring Youth Basketball is back at the Gloucester County YMCA, and this season we’re bringing even MORE opportunities to the court!

💥 NEW THIS SPRING — Jr. Dribblers (Ages 3–5)
Our youngest athletes can now get in the game! Jr. Dribblers is a fun, introductory coed program designed to build basic motor skills, coordination, listening skills, and confidence. Through age-appropriate drills and games, kids will learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork — all in a positive, supportive environment. It’s the perfect first step into sports! 🧡

🏀 Youth Basketball League (Ages 6–12)
Ready to level up? Our league focuses on skill development, teamwork, and healthy competition. Players will practice weekly and compete in Saturday games, building confidence, strengthening fundamentals, and learning what it means to be part of a team. Whether your child is new to the game or looking for more competitive play, this league is designed to challenge and inspire. 💪

Our pool is still temporarily closed, but our spirit is anything but! 💙💪🏽

Our facility was built in 1968 — we like to call it “vintage and well loved.” 😉 That character sometimes means certain parts take a little longer to source, but please know our team is working every single day to complete the necessary repairs and reopen the pool as quickly and safely as possible.

In the meantime, we’ve got plenty of great low-impact options to keep you moving:

🚣 Rowing machine – full body, low impact resistance at your own pace
🚶 Indoor walking on our basketball court – 20 laps = 1 mile!
🚴 Recumbent bike for joint-friendly cardio
🧘 Yoga classes and Silver Sneakers Classes
🥢 Our Upstairs Studio has additional equipment and self guided workout ideas for all levels

💙 120th Anniversary Challenge!
Walk 1.20 miles (24 laps!) around the court or on any treadmill or bicycle in honor of our 120th anniversary and earn a prize!

Our team is actively working to complete the necessary repairs so we can reopen the pool as quickly and safely as possible. While our pool remains closed we are confident our team will come through soon. We truly appreciate your patience and support while we take care of this.
