This weekend, Chateau Bothell Landing laced up and showed up for Walk MS Seattle at Gas Works Park! 💙

We were treated to sunshine, stunning views of the city, and an incredible crowd of supporters made it a truly unforgettable day. It was a privilege to walk alongside so many passionate people and incredible community.

We had such a great time at Walk MS: Everett this year! The weather was perfect, the water was beautiful, and the turnout was huge.

We were proud to have a booth, handing out treats to the community, and our Chateau-branded yoyos were the biggest hit with all ages. We got to spend the morning talking with families, and supporters who were all there for a really good cause.

Thanks to the National MS Society for putting this amazing event together, and to everyone who came out and walked. We were honored to be there.

Meet Chef Tom. 🍺👨‍🍳

Before he landed at Chateau, Tom spent years in the high-pressure world of large corporate restaurants as a classically trained, skilled, and accomplished chef. But somewhere along the way, he found something better than a fine dining kitchen. He found us.

Tom is our VP of Culinary at Chateau Retirement, and if you've ever wondered what it looks like when someone is truly doing what they were made to do, this is it.

In this long-form spotlight, Tom takes you behind the scenes of his world: the beer demos and wine tastings he hosts for residents (yes, there's an on-site brewery, and yes, it's as cool as it sounds), the stories residents share over a glass that he says he'll carry with him forever, and the gold medal-winning brew that put him on the national craft beer map. But with his humble personality, you won't catch him bragging.

The part that gets us most isn't the medals or the menus. It's watching Tom light up when he talks about the people he cooks and brews for every single day. This is what community looks like. This is what belonging tastes like.

Wonderful moments from the South Sound Seattle MS Walk this weekend.

There was such a strong sense of community at this event. Teams showing up, walking together, cheering each other on. You could feel the support in every direction. It’s what makes events like this so meaningful.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up like this, and proud to support a cause that brings people together in all the right ways.
