In case you’re wondering…..what’s a Wellness Visit?? Generally it means some that doesn’t require Physical Therapy in the sense that most people think of it. For example, recent surgery, an injury or pain. Some examples of ideas for a wellness visit may include wanting to be able to pick up your kids or grandkids with more ease, the desire to complete your first 5K, goal to climb a 14er next summer, more physical endurance to complete household tasks. Did you know there is a correlation between sleep apnea and increased nocturia (nighttime urination) as well as generalized urinary frequency and urgency? Check out this interesting case study and what I learned thanks to a former client presenting with this.
I took a deep dive into the research on this one, when I didn't understand how the use (or not using) a CPAP could influence urinary frequency.
And the phone call I got when I referred the patient to Pulmonology for CPAP modification stating is was for nocturia 🤣

Thank you all for your patience as we get this Performance Center ready. Equipment and flooring is being delivered next week. However the holidays put us behind with City permits.

Our goal is to be open by the end of February to serve you the best strength and performance center around.

Please reach out with your email if you’re interested in our Early Bird Specials (available up until the day of the ribbon cutting) and getting on our pre-opening tour list. We will be inviting groups in to see the space, as it gets ready for grand opening!

We are also expecting baby #3 in February, so please bear with us through this busy time.
